Displays: Permanent vs. Portable (Trade Show)

Similarities
It’s all about the message -- whether a display is for your trade show or permanent facility. Adler Display provides outstanding quality, customer service and attention to detail on all displays, with the goal of conveying the customer’s message as effectively as possible.
Differences
Permanent and portable displays have different requirements. Trade show displays are valued for their ease-of-use in setting up, light-weight materials, and necessity for looking great in a variety of environments. Permanent displays are installed once and are created for a specific environment, so materials can be chosen more for aesthetics rather than ease of transport. Permanent displays are also designed using surrounding clues (i.e. wall color, flooring, fixtures, etc.) to fit in properly with the environment in which they will be installed.

Other considerations
While your trade show display is competing with a room full of other displays, permanent displays are usually viewed on their own. So even though the same message is being conveyed about your company that establishes credibility and expertise, the permanent display isn’t competing with a lot of noise. This means there is more room for details in telling the story of your company’s history, for instance. In a trade show environment, the same messages must be eye-catching and high-impact. This is a considerable difference when it comes to designing one type of display over the other.
