Timeline Displays Reveal Great Moments and Achievements

Timeline displays are a great way to show the evolution of a company, organization or school and its important products, services, events and leaders. They capture the organization’s ability to stay ahead amidst changing times in history.

Interactive features, such as touchscreen monitors, can be incorporated into timeline displays and store vast amounts of information for visitors to browse. Along with the organization’s mission and values, timeline displays often showcase:

  • Growth or relocation of facility
  • New and evolving products
  • Founders and key leaders
  • New technology
  • Achievements and anniversaries

We recently created timeline displays for Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, ASCD and Jim Thorpe Visitor Center.

More than 100 years are chronicled in the timeline display for Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. The 44 foot long display includes an extensive archive of photos that tell the story of the school’s history from its move to Cold Spring Lane to its principals over the years. Poly’s colors, blue and orange, are used throughout the display, as well as brushed aluminum and blueprint-like graphics to represent the technical side of the engineering school.

Client Comments: "We are THRILLED with the timeline! We had an unveiling ceremony this morning and there has been a lot of excitement among the alumni, faculty and students!"

Featuring a mixture of fixed images and monitors with rotating images, the timeline for ACSD is divided into a handful of sections with unique fin-like dividers that separate each decade.

The Jim Thorpe timeline display shows the evolution of the township that was redone to be incorporated into the new visitor center designed and fabricated by Adler Display. The colors yellow and green were used with an old-fashioned style. Each year is illustrated with an image of the town in addition to a one or two sentence description.
