How much will the display cost?

Question: How much?

What a loaded question that is! Price is dependent on so many variables and we need to gather a lot of information up front in order to quote a job. Many times our customers think we can quote a number off the top of our head, or turn a number around really quick. But since almost all of our work is original, one-of-a-kind displays, we have to think through a job from start to installation to quote it. Some items that go into quoting a project:

- What is the client’s budget, and how can we engineer a project within their budget?
- Do we need a designer to do a layout first? That adds time. Or do we know exactly what the design will be?
- What is the size?
- What materials are we using? We may need to reach out to our vendors for material costs.
- How long will it take to fabricate, and how intricate is the fabrication?
- How will we transport it?
- How long will it take to install?

Often when we work on a quote, we meet internally as a team with Sales, Project Manager and Design to discuss the direction of the project and if we can accomplish the goal of the project within the client's budget. After our initial meeting it is not unusual for the salesperson to reach back out to a client with questions from the team, or a concern about budget. As you can see, there is a lot that goes into pricing our custom interior displays. The best approach in working with Adler Display Studios is to think ahead of time about size, location, budget and design so we can get things moving faster!
